Building on a successful implementation, firm will support automation and audit readiness advancements
Electrosoft Services, LLC announced today that the Defense Logistics Agency has awarded the company a recompete prime contract to continue supporting the agency's G-Invoicing modernization efforts. As under the original contract, Electrosoft will work in a Contractor Teaming Arrangement (CTA) with KPMG LLP, providing DLA J62 with specialized services to manage and advance the agency's intragovernmental (IGT) buy/sell transaction capabilities. The award follows a successful first contract period during which DLA Distribution became the first major subordinate command in the DLA enterprise to process live G-Invoicing orders — a significant milestone in the agency's broader financial modernization journey.
"DLA's commitment to modernizing its financial systems is directly tied to its mission of managing over $15 billion in IGTs annually in support of national defense,” said Dr. Sarbari Gupta, Electrosoft CEO. “We look forward to building on the major G-Invoicing implementation milestone by supporting DLA in advancing its modernization effort with stronger controls and a more streamlined operation."
DLA's G-Invoicing effort supports federal requirements for reimbursable work with Department of Defense and civilian trading partners, spanning both Order to Cash and Procure to Pay processes. The agency has already deployed significant capabilities, with additional work ahead to expand coverage across remaining transaction types.
Under the recompete contract, Electrosoft will provide business analysts, developers, cyber analysts, IT auditors, and business process re-engineering specialists to create a more automated, audit-ready process that reduces manual workload, improves controls, and supports both G-Invoicing and legacy requirements.
The solution will use existing DLA platforms and a single front-end entry point to update systems such as G-Invoicing, Wide Area Workflow, Electronic Document Access, and Enterprise Business System, with work shifting more toward SAP than ServiceNow during this period of performance. The G-Invoicing Transaction Broker will connect in-scope ordering systems and help keep transactions aligned throughout the lifecycle, including linking orders to the proper General Terms and Conditions.
“This recompete award is a direct reflection of the trusted partnership we have built with DLA and our shared commitment to advancing mission-critical financial modernization. We are proud to continue supporting DLA with the expertise, professionalism, and dedication our team brings to this important work,” said Cecil Dildine, Vice President of DoD Programs at Electrosoft.
